About this Cook
I am a single mom of an active 5 year old. I live with my mother. I'm currently working on a bachelors degree in elementary education.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook italian food and mexican food. I also love to try new recipies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our green chili cheese enchiladas are to die for.
My cooking triumphs
When I was in middle school I made a huge batch of Cowboy Cookies. It took me the whole day and they were a huge hit.
My cooking tragedies
I was making fry bread for Indian Tacos and accidentally added 2 cups of sugar instead of to teaspoons. My family will not let me live that one down.

Buttery Rolls
Delicious!! These came out light, fluffy, and very flavorful. They are now a staple in our household.

Classic Goulash
This was my first time making Goulash, and it turned out amazing. I took the advice of other reviews and added two medium bell peppers. I also added a bag of corn. I was worried about it coming out too watery for my households taste so I reduced the water to two cups, which was perfect for us! Will definitely make again. This did make a huge amount and we've been giving leftovers away, will definitely cut the recipe in half next time.

Mom's Country Gravy
This was good, next time I will use pan drippings from bacon or sausage, because the flavor was not quite right, I ended up adding more salt and pepper to cover up the vegetable oil flavor. However it wasn't lumpy, and it wasn't too thick either, so I think with a little bit of tweaking this could be an excellent white gravy recipe.
