Scottish Shepherd's Pie
I'm sure this is a tasty dish, but it isn't Shepherd's Pie, which is made with minced lamb or mutton.

Black Beans
Made this to go with Pollo Rancho Luna: quite nice but nothing special. However, I turned the leftovers into soup, jazzed up with some chopped salami - fantastic!! So I will try again, adding more pepper, some celery and some sausage or salami.

Pollo Rancho Luna
I made this with chicken breasts, and found it did not have much depth of flavour, but it is unusual enough that I will make it again, adding some stock powder. Served with oven rice, black beans and a spinach cranberry salad, it made a good menu.
