This is a very good and easy recipe. I used old fashioned oatmeal and added some allspice and vanilla. Everyone enjoyed it here.

Chicken Shawarma

Very good recipe. I served it with toum. Make your own flatbread, it makes it fantastic! I am going to try it again with shawarma spice blend.

Crabless Chicken Cakes

This is a tasty way of using up leftovers. I HATE cassaroles! I used turkey and subbed a shake of ground red pepper instead of the hot sauce. I let the mixture sit for a few minutes so that the cracker crumbs would get moist enough to form into patties. My turkey was in big hunks and it held together fine. I popped a tablespoon of butter with the olive oil for a bit more flavor.

I did not care for this at all. It smelled great but had no taste.

Ladyfingers

Perfect and cheap! I had absolutely NO problem with piping them or having them spread too much. If you have that problem, you may not have whipped the eggs whites enough, or folded them in too roughly. Wonderful recipe Roxanne! Thanks!

Bran Muffins with Coffee

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2003
The recipe is good. However, I had to make some adjustments. I used Fiber One and safe to say, the first time I made it, I had the same results as the raters before me. This time I used HOT coffee (boiling hot) and soaked the fiber cereal in the coffee until it was mushy, then followed the rest of the recipe. Good Luck!
