About this Cook
I don't get along with people who don't like to eat. I very much enjoy cooking for people but I hate washing the dishes.
My favorite things to cook
mostly vegetables these days.
My favorite family cooking traditions
screaming at family and eating so much that i have to unbutton my pants and take a nap.
My cooking triumphs
I once had a man propose to me after tasting my bruscetta!
My cooking tragedies
I can bake a 7 tiered wedding cake but I can't figure out how to get my scrambled eggs not to be runny.

Asian Mushroom Soup
I always get soup from the chinese restaurant and none have been as flavorful as this one. I added more broth because once I added all the veggies there didn't seem to be enough. The soup was better the following day however the noodles were overcooked so next time I'll keep the noodles separate so if I have some leftover the following day I can add the noodles after I heat the soup up so they aren't mushy. Very good- I used exotic mushrooms! Delicious!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms
I have grown up eating stuffed mushrooms on every holiday however I've grown tired of my families version (sausage and pepperoni stuffed) that I needed something new. I've tried them stuffed with walnuts and cheddar but these are by far the best. I had a party last weekend and I doubled the recipe for 5 people and had many other items prepared and NOT one mushroom remained. My friends loved them so much that they invited themselves over again this weekend and forced me to triple the recipe, and this time 4 people came and only ONE mushroom remained. We might take a break for a while but when we're ready, we'll be making these guys again.

Double Tomato Bruschetta
Bruschetta is standard in my household, it's made for holiday's and a lot during the summer for a light dinner. I have never melted cheese on bruschetta before but I have cut up fresh mozzarella and put that in the mix. I loved the addition of the sun-dried tomatoes, I didn't have anything left over however the melted cheese is not really necessary. It was delicious without the cheese all together.
