Garden Fresh Tomato Soup

Didn't have cloves. Otherwise followed recipe with mediocre tomatoes and came out surprisingly delish!

Yummm. I accidentally omitted the brown sugar and used dry mustard I also did not use vinegar as it was everpresent in the kc masterpiece BBQ sauce I used. Used Paula deens Italian seasoning and Florida sunshine salt from the tea and spice exchange. Two big boys gave four big thumbs up!!!! Thanks for posting

German Pancake with Buttermilk Sauce

I'm grateful for the sauce recipe...it will save me $ as I prefer a pancake syrup with this consistency and can be found in the expensive pure maple syrups. The pancake itself is not something I would make again; which tasted more like flan than a pancake.

World's Best Potato Salad

Very flavorful. Definately is too sweet with the full half cup of sugar! I tried it as written for the first time, and wished I'de followed other's advice to cut back on the sugar. I added more potatoes, which helped...the flavor however, was excellent went paired with the spicy rib sauce we used with our rib dinner. A hit overall.

Chocolate Candy Bar Cake

This cake is worthy of using icing tips to dress up the frosting as it so moist and delicious. It reminded me of a suzy Q only way better.

'Chinese Buffet' Green Beans

I used CANNED because thats what I had. Used garlic powder instead of fresh. Reduced the sauces to one TBSP each and omitted the oil (strain the liquid from the beans before cooking) I pan fried to heat thoroughly and diminish some of the liquid. It was very good, and i can't wait to try with fresh beans!

Beef Barbecue Biscuits

i omitted the Brown sugar alltogether and used Emeril's BAM BBQ sauce mixed with a couple TBSP's of Sweet Baby Rays. Very fun!

perfect! I used butter flavor Crisco and out of curiousity i dipped a few in cocoa/sugar mixture instead of cinnamon sugar mixture and they were great too.

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

my extraordinarily picky friend said YUM from the first bite to the last. My only disappointment was the absence of tomatoes...compared to Gerrys enchilda recipe. I have made the same friend both recipes and Angela's is the winner. Another reviewers slow cooker idea to shred the chicken worked great.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Very good! I thawed frozen green bean instead of canned, and did half french onion topping and half cracker topping...both were good. Will definately make again.

Salmon with Lemon and Dill

Instead of butter and lemon, i used lemon flavored extra virgin olive oil which did the trick quite nicely. Also used minced garlic instead of powder.

Pumpkin Cream Pie

Based on all the reviews having trouble with runny pie, I used the 3.9 size box of pudding. I got vanilla with small chips already in the mix. I covered the finished pie with whip topping, studded the edges with full size choc chips and shaved a couple chips over the pie with a grater. The teenagers especially enjoyed this!

Candied Sweet Potatoes
