Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
This was very tasty. But I'm wondering, should the bottom crust be baked off for a few minutes first? Mine came out a little soggy.

Golden Rum Cake
My cake is in the oven as we speak and I'm worried. I got white cake mix instead of yellow......will report back weather or not this is a tragedy. *UPDATE* Cake came out fantastic!! Co-workers loved it. They were picking at the crumbs left on the empty plate! I keep getting comments as to when I am making it again...which will be soon!!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs
So simple, so straightforward, so good. I have been trying to duplicate my grandmother's meatballs for about 15 years now. Always trying the fancy recipes using veal and pork along with the beef, never quite getting it. This is THE recipe. It is really perfect!
