Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Decent flavor but difficult dough!! Used 1/4tsp of almond extract and reduced flour by 1/3C and still needed to add about 1-2Tbsp. of milk just to get dough workable. Couldn't shape cookies without using the milk...too dry and crumbly. Overall tasty...thanks for sharing!

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

These were good...still not the best! Less flour tasting then the previous batch...but still!!?? Presentation is nice with colored sugar! Thanks for sharing but will keep looking!

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

OMG are these yummy!! I am not a big white chocolate chip fan...but these are good!! Reduced flour to about 2.5 cups and white sugar to 3/4C...spread nicely and look beautiful! Gonna be added to holiday cookie rotation!! Thanks!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Great recipe...baked for 45 mins at 325 then another 30 mins at 300. I had 3 loaves in the oven and dusted tops with cinnamon sugar..my hubby LOVED it! Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Fantastic muffin and the first time my 2 toddlers have eaten anything pumpkin!! Used canned pumpkin pie - as it was all I had. Also used brown sugar in the struedel...used my cookie scoop and placed a full scoop in bottom of muffin liner, used pastry bag to pipe cream cheese mix into middle, then covered with another scoop...used butter knife to spread it around and worked perfectly! Had a nice cream cheese center...Thanks so much for sharing - will definitely make again!!

These were ok...my 3 year old didn't even finish one - and he LOVES biscuits. I made them larger but the were still pretty flat - not at all flaky. They did rise a tad...Thanks for sharing!

Pumpkin Crumb Cake

Good flavor and house smelled GREAT! Baked in 10" springform pan...Added about 1tsp of pumpkin spice, I think it would have been bland without it...baked 30 mins at 350 then 20 more mins at 325. Looked so pretty when I pulled the sides off. Easy too...Thanks for sharing!

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

FANTASTIC SAUCE!! Hubby and I LOVED this sauce - kids are 3 and >2...so not sure they have opinions yet!! Definite keeper - didn't use anchovy paste and added a dash of garlic salt..For those who thought it was too runny - just don't use the full amount of water...think I still had a little left in cup. Thanks for sharing!

Homesteader Cornbread

Thought this was very good...only had about 1 1/4 cups of cornmeal so added more flour. Also used 1/3 c honey and 1/3 c. sugar. Used 2 cups of milk since I added about 1/2 can of creamed corn...Place pan in oven for about 10 mins. then sprayed it and added the mix. Baked for almost 30 mins - but could have taken it out earlier. Very tasty - I like mine sweeter - but have to let others eat it too!! LOL

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

The taste of these were just okay...rather easy to make, my 3 year old son was able to help and stayed in the cookie cutter shape.. Be careful not to bake too long or they r rock hard!! Probably won't make again as they look pretty but the taste is lacking! Thanks anyway!

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Excellent Recipe...made in a gingersnap/hazelnut crust..I also used 3 packs cream cheese and 3 eggs plus 1 cup of sugar...only so it would make a larger cheesecake. Also used pumpkin pie puree with spices already added!! My neighbors loved it!! One said I should enter it in a contest!!

German Apple Cake I

Great!! Used less oil, 1/2 brown sugar 1/2 white sugar...had to use my hands to mix everything together when the apples were added-VERY thick!! Placed in bundt pan that was dusted with cinnamon and sugar...tasty and moist! Thanks for sharing!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

I can't believe it has taken me this long to review this recipe!! I have made it at least 15 times in the last year as it is in our regular dinner roation and is also good enough(not to mention easy)for company!! I always double the sauce since my hubby LOVES it and the kids tolerate it..that's enough for me!

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Pretty good and nice that my 3 year old was able to help make them...Used 3 medium bananas, vanilla yogurt, cinnamon applesauce in place of the oil and Milk Chocolate chips - rather then semi sweet...Could definitely get away with less sugar. Pretty healthy exxcept for all the sugar!!! Still waiting to see if my picky kids will eat them!! Thanks for sharing!!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Very good and easy recipe...Used what I had on hand - 1 pkg. (3.9oz) Vanilla Pudding, Light Sour Cream and Mini chocolate ships! I have made this several times using the ingredients stated in recipe and this time was as good as all the rest!! Thanks for sharing!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Good, but not great...Followed recipe with a few of the suggestions and still this did nothing 4 me...I am not a huge asparagus fan, but hubby loves it!! He said it was ok - would probably make again, just not in our weekly or even monthly rotation! Thanks for sharing!

Unbelievable Chicken

Good but not great...Used lime and lemon juice and marinated for about 20 hours(put in marinade b4 bedtime and grilled it for dinner the following day)...It was very juicy and had a strong mustard taste. Would probably make again, but not in our weekly rotation! Thanks for sharing!
