Old Fashioned Chicken Pot Pie
I thought this recipe was just okay - maybe a little boring. I used canned chicken breast meat (2 - 13 oz. cans), which turned out fine. My complaint was that there wasn't much of a gravy to it - I think next time I'll try one of the recipes which call for a cream (chicken or whatever) soup. Also, I definitely wouldn't add anymore that what's called for as far as the thyme.

Cheese Sauce Over Cauliflower
I was disappointed with this recipe. It was pretty tasteless, I really didn't like the taste of the thyme, and the texture was not good either. I've come to the conclusion that the only way to make a good tasting cheese sauce is to use a recipe which calls for a processed cheese (like Velveeta). The processed cheese gives it a nice smooth texture, and a nice cheesy flavor.

Southern Pulled Pork
I agree with a lot of others who say this recipe makes for very tender pork, which is good, but as far as taste, I found it to be very bland too - definitely need to top the sandwiches with bbq sauce. Also, in my opinion, 4 cups of water is a lot of liquid. I think next time I'd add less, although I suppose the meat needs to be covered with liquid in order to make it tender. As others suggested, I might try using beer, beef or chicken broth, or maybe a combination of them.
