raised in a traditional mexican american family. we are very supported to each other but most of all our love of our family is very strong. tortillas, homemade mexican food. favorite fijoles (pinto beans) and arroz ( rice). tamales every christmas, bunelos new years day. bbq memorial day and 4th of July. homemade bread, i am diabetic and have learned to make many sweet treats with splenda. still need help in making tamales. my mother still is the main cook to traditionl mexican food.
