My 5yr old grandson helped me make these and he could not wait to eat one..ended up eating 2 and wanted to take them home. Next time I make them, which will be for Xmas morning I will add sliced mushrooms, too. These were fantastic and so easy. Great to take along on long trips in the car with a good cup of coffee. I'll be making these many times. My son asked for the recipe, too.

Fantastic ...describes this baked potatoe soup. For those who do not baked their potatoes first, are missing out on the whole idea of "Baked Potatoe" soup and the fantastic taste those bake potatoes offer.

This is a great after school snack for the kids...I have my granddaughter, and grandson working together making it. The fun thing for them is to put the final touch of a dallop of whip cream on top...they ask for this all the time. You can almost use whatever fruits you have on hand that go TOGETHER. Plus, my holiday tables always have a fruit salad on them especially for the grandkids. :o)
