Black Bean Brownies
Based on prior reviews, I added baking powder, added baking soda, used applesauce for oil, and used brown sugar for 1/2 cup of the white sugar. I did Splenda for the other 1/4 cup of sugar and omitted the coffee because I didn't have it. Skeptical hubby and I both liked these. All we tasted was chocolate. The batter smelled "beany", but the finished product didn't.
