Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2009
Very good. Very fast and easy to make. My husband and kids liked it and everyone agreed I should make this again. I did use Cream of Mushroom instead of COC because that's what I had.

Asian Lettuce Wraps

We really enjoyed these. I couldn't find pickled ginger so just used ground ginger instead. About 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of ginger.

Maple Bacon Pancake

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2005
My family and I really enjoyed this recipe. As another reviewer suggested we had this for dinner. My cooking time was also longer. I baked it at 350 for 20 minutes and it still could've gone another 2 or 3 minutes before I added the bacon and cheese. I also agree it could use a little more maple syrup. All in all, good recipe and easy to make.

Taste of Home's Creamy Coleslaw

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2005
This is a great recipe. I left out the celery salt because I didn't have any and it still tasted great. Try this if you like a sweet slaw. If you like your slaw with more of a vinegar kick this is not for you.

Graham Griddle Cakes

My 3 year old and I really enjoyed these. I didn't have pecans on hand so I left them out. They still tasted great. I thought they would be really sweet from the graham crackers but they weren't.

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2004
What a great recipe! I needed taco seasoning and didn't want to go to the store so I made this. It was easy to put together and tasted great! No one in my family noticed the difference. I did the the onion powder out, only because I didn't have it on hand, it still tasted fine.

I made this for the holidays and spread it over the Maine Pumpkin Bread recipe, also on this site. It tasted really good and was very easy to make. Jazzes up things a bit for a nice presentation.

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2003
Made this for Thanksgiving ( naturally ) I thought it was pretty good. I was scared when I read to sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top. I couldn't imagine how this could turn out right but I was wrong. The pumpkin soaked into it and came out fine. If you're looking for a dessert made with pumpkin and are sick of pie, check this one out.

Quick n Easy Potta Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2003
After reading the reviews, I was surprised that my family and I didn't care for this dish too much. I think the ranch beans were too over-powering. Maybe it was the brand (B&M) beans. I'm not sure, but I won't bother to make it again.

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2003
I;ve tried many of the onther buttercream frostings on this site and this one is the best. It doesn't have that crunchy sugar taste and it's not too too sweet. I used it to frost "box mix" cupcakes. Everyone thought they were really good. I attribute it to the frosting. I will make this again.

Creamy White Layers

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2003
This cake was a little denser than I would have liked but it had great flavor. I frosted it with Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting and served it as a birthday cake. It was one of the best homemade white cakes I've had but not the best cake I've made.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2003
After reading the recipe I was concerned it might taste like a "from a box" dinner. I was wrong. This dish was easy to put together and very tasty. I did cut the chicken up before I added the sauce, hoping it would cook faster but it only took off 5 or 10 minutes of the cooking time. It was, however, easy to eat that way. I will make this again many times.

Hoagie Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2003
Just as everyone has said, this tastes just like a hoagie. I also added red wine vinegar to mine. I'm not sure if I would make this again. Only because of the time involved chopping the meat. Unless you want to bring "something different" to a table, just buy a hoagie and slice it into smaller pieces. Same effect, less time.

Apple Crunch Pie II

This was a good pie recipe. I left out the nutmeg and allspice just a personal preference. I would make this again for something different from the normal apple pie.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2003
I thought this recipe was pretty good. I used frozen pizza dough, instead of a prepared crust, and baked it for 10 minutes before adding the toppings and baking for another ten minutes. The only change I would make is to use a cheddar/monteray jack cheese instead of the mozzerella for a bit more zip.

Strawberry Cake and Frosting II

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2003
What a great cake. Great strawberry flavor. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because some thought the frosting was a little sweet. My sister suggested using cool whip instead of all the sugar. Not a bad idea.

Split Pea Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2003
Very good. I couldn't find a ham bone at my grocery store so I used a ham steak and substituted beef broth for the water to make up for flavor loss. I also added some fresh thyme and deleted the potato (only because I didn't have one) This soup got rave reviews from family and friends. I will make it again.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: May 27, 2003
The gravy in this recipe is so easy and good. Watch you don't let it cook for too long or else it will get to thick like mine did. I just added more milk and my problem was solved.
