Wow - - this recipe rocks!!! I had to make it over and over again! I didn't have any golden raisins, so I substituted baking raisins. I added the raisins to the dry ingredients so they didn't fall to the bottom of the pan! Thanks!!!!!

I would definitely make this recipe again! I sprinkled my meat with Lawry's Seasoned salt...I didn't use as much as the recipe called for and added Sweet Baby Rays Barbecue Sauce as suggested by another reviewer. My kids and my husband went bonkers over this and have asked me to make this again and again!!!!! THANK YOU KIMBERLY!!!!!

I thought that this recipe was terrific and needed not too much time to prepare. I did, however; dip the cakes into egg and roll into bread crumbs. This helped the cakes stay together because they have a tendency to fall apart when frying. I served this with a mixture of 1 tb. dijon mustard, 3 tb. mayonaisse. My six year old daughter came back for seconds. Great with a tossed salad.
