My family really loved this salad. It is colourful and very tasty. I even got rave reviews from my son-in-law! WOW! For Thanksgiving this year, I tried a different recipe and my husband told me to throw that new one out and to only make this Amish Macaroni Salad. I make the recipe as written and I also have printed it out for my favourite recipes book. It is so delicious!! Thanks for this one.

I was looking for a marinade that did not have oil in it. Doubled the recipe as I had 8 pounds of Rib Steaks which I separated into 2 ziploc bags. I did not rub anything on the steak, just mixed everything in a bowl and poured into the bags and sealed them. Turned often for about 2 hours. Some one else BBQ'd so did not get to use the marinade to baste with. We did not find the steak too sweet and it was so tender. Thanks so much for the recipe.

This bread has very good texture and flavour. We really liked it. I did have to add flour to the mix as someone else suggested. I put a total of 4 3/4 cups flour, and the bread was great. I tried to bake the bread in my bread machine and it rose right up to the lid. Next time I will put it into a loaf pan, let it rise and then bake it, just as you are supposed to do!
