Made this last night with my husband. We followed the recipe exactly, except for using butter instead of margarine, and it came out great. Didn't have any problems at all. Used disposable baking pans bought at the dollar store, which I sprayed with cooking spray so nothing would stick to the pans. I thought 2 cups of peanuts was a bit much and the amount should be scaled down a bit, but my husband thought they were the best part. I'm sure I'll be making this caramel corn again, especially since I was planning to bring this to a Christmas Eve party and don't think it's going to last until then. Maybe next time I will drizzle melted chocolate on top. YUM!

My husband and I agreed this was a great recipe, but I wouldn't call them bars, it's a dense cake. I was expecting that though after reading the reviews and was looking to make a cake rather than bars anyway. I baked it in a 9x13 pan for 40 minutes and it came out very moist with plenty of banana flavor (I used 3 large bananas). I made Cream Cheese Frosting II (halved the recipe) from this site to ice the cake. The frosting was excellent. This cake would also be very good without frosting. I will make this recipe again.

With Thanksgiving being only days away I had to find a good vegetarian gravy to go with my "turkey". I came across this recipe and decided to test it out today. I didn't have any nutritional yeast or sage so I made it without them. I also substituted olive oil for the vegetable oil, left out the salt and added a little more vegetable broth to thin it out some. The outcome was pretty darn good. It is a very rich gravy with an almost mushroomy flavor. My husband agreed and said it is the best vegetarian gravy he has ever had. The only issue I had with it is that it turns into a thick, sticky glob when refrigerated and you will definitely need to add more vegetable broth when you reheat the leftovers.

Based on the name of these cookies I was expecting a lot more from them. They aren't terrible, but they are definitely not the best I've had. I followed the recipe almost exactly as written, except I used 2 x-large eggs because that's all I had and I omitted the nuts. Baking them at 350 was taking well beyond 10 minutes, so I knew the oven temp had to be increased. Also, the cookies were not browning and looked flat. After the first batch came out I increased the oven temp to 375 and baked for 11 minutes. The cookies seemed to have a better color to them and didn't seem as flat. As far as taste goes these cookies are decent, but I must say I've yet to find a chocolate chip cookie recipe that I like as much as Tollhouse. For me, that is definitely the recipe to beat. Will I make these cookies again? Probably not.

These are great! Very moist and all the flavors go together so well making one yummy muffin! I omitted the pecans, I usually don't like nuts in my baked goods, and substituted vegetable oil for the olive oil, but other than that didn't change a thing. I manged to get 21 muffins out of this recipe. Hubby really enjoyed these and so did I. Will definitely make again.

These muffins are moist and delicious. My husband and I both enjoyed them. I changed the recipe a little by using 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I also added 1 1/4 tsps. of cinnamon to the batter. Couldn't imagine making the recipe without it. I diced up 2 medium gala apples and found this was just the right amount for the recipe. For the strudel topping I melted the butter before adding it to the brown sugar mixture. I think when doing that you may need to use more than 1 tb., maybe melt an extra 1/2 tb. I'll definitely make these muffins again.

These cookies are REALLY good! I followed the recipe exactly, except for omitting the nuts. Will definitely makes these again and again. Got 7 dozen cookies out of this recipe.

I have never tasted an apple pie like this and I don't mean that in a good way. I don't know what it was, but the taste was very odd. The other 3 people I served it to also agreed. Maybe I did something wrong without realizing it?? Aside from the strange taste the sauce was way too watery. On the plus side the crust came out good, but that's Pillsbury's doing. Sorry, I really wanted to like this recipe.

Hus-b and I thought this was pretty good, but felt like it was missing something. I used sweet pickle relish since that's what I had on hand. I will have to play around with this recipe a little.

Excellent banana bread! My husband and I loved it, as well as a friend of ours. I used 5 bananas and followed the recipe as written except for adding 1 tsp. of vanilla extract. It was very dense and moist, just the way a good banana bread should be. I will make this again and again.

I just got done making these pancakes a few minutes ago. I don't know how people are giving this recipe such a high rating. Either I royally messed something up without realizing it or this recipe is just flat out the worst pancake recipe ever. They were not fluffy, did not brown and had no flavor. I may as well have been eating paper. They were THAT thin, pale and tasteless. What a waste of ingredients.

I made this recipe exactly as written and it was very bland. Would be much better with additional seasoning. Definitely need to play around with it.

Guess I should have kept a closer eye on the yams because they burnt to a crisp! One minute they were fine and the next they were totally black. A few pieces managed to be saved, but they were a bit dry and didn't have much flavor. Don't think I'll be grilling yams again.

I was expecting this recipe to be outstanding based on the reviews, but my husband and I thought these were just ok. The oregano and basil were a bit overpowering. Won't make a portobello mushroom burger using this recipe again.

These were just ok. Mostly just tasted like plain mashed potatoes. Couldn't really taste the garlic all that much. I'm not sure the parmesan cheese added much flavor either. I had leftovers which I added sour cream to the next day and it helped to make the potatoes a bit tastier.

My husband and I both thought these were ok at best. While the filling itself was pretty good (I halved it as suggested by others), I don't think the crescent rolls work very well for this recipe. Puff pastry might make these better. A cup of glaze also seemed like way too much. I made half a cup and tasted it before putting it on the danish. I'm glad I did because I didn't like it at all and wound up throwing it away. I think it's safe to say I won't be making these again.

These were SO good and SO easy to make! I followed the recipe almost exactly as written. Only changes I made were I substituted dried cilantro for the dried oregano and I added 1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper. I topped them with sharp cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, sour cream and homemade guacamole. Will definitely make these again and again.

My boyfriend and I LOVE this chili! It has become a staple in our home and we make it about twice a month. Only changes we made were we omit the celery, I'm not a big fan of it, replaced the kidney beans with black beans and added a bag of Morningstar Farms crumbles. Top it off with cheddar cheese, salsa and sour cream. This recipe is a must have for any vegetarian. Yummy!!!
