Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Slow-Cooked Short Ribs

Really good recipe. I did brown the meat first. The short ribs I used had quite a bit of fat so I removed the ribs from the slow cooker after they had cooked for about seven hours, strained the sauce to remove any unwanted bits, and skimmed off the fat. I followed the recipe for the sauce exactly and would not change a thing. Everybody loved these ribs served over mashed potatoes.

Excellent Broccoli Cheese Soup

I converted the recipe to 4 servings and it worked out perfectly. I used a steamer to cook the broccoli and added a carrot as another reviewer suggested. I used my Bamix mixer to blend everything together for a smoother consistency. Finally, I made some buttered croutons out of cheese bread as a garnish. Wonderful flavour.

Perfect Cashew and Peanut Butter Gluten-free Cookies

These are wonderful cookies -- the texture is perfect. I had almond and hazelnut butter on hand (not a big fan of peanut butter) and also put in 2/3 cup chocolate chips. Thank you!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Fabulous dip. I made this on Boxing Day and everybody loved it. I used the Kraft Italian cheese blend (all I had on hand) and it was great.

Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

The marinade for this recipe is excellent. The pork was very moist and tasty. Instead of the mayo/sour cream sauce, I tried the Dijon Marsala Sauce posted on this site which worked perfectly.

Holiday Peas and Rice

Very good. I prepared the roast as the recipe stated except for the timing. Twelve hours was sufficient. I strained the liquid after and thickened with cornstarch.
