King Cake
I don't think you should put the baby in before baking. Mine is plastic, and that would be a health hazard. I put the baby in after a piece is cut, so my daughters can find it. I keep the babies from each year, so now I have quite a few to slip into a piece if we have guests.

Cranberry Apple Pie I
I used no crust, but a bit of the topping under the filling. WOW! What a combo. Loved the flavor under vanilla ice cream.

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread
WOW, it's everything you could want. I added 1/4 c. oat bran with a teaspoon more water. It was fabulous and good for you.
