Whole Wheat Honey Bread
Suggestion for those at high altitude: use half the yeast in the recipe. Took me a while to get this right, as I tried using 3/4 or 2/3 at first, but those loaves fell. I'm in Denver (5300 ft), and this time it came out just right! I also made the substitutions others suggested: half the flour was bread flour, butter instead of shortening, and reduce the salt (only 1/4 tsp). The bread machine was set for basic bread with a light crust. Plus I added 2 tbsp more water (standard high altitude adjustment). yum!
