I am a retired professional enjoying life.I visit children and grandchildren a lot and travel a bit. I love to cook and try new dishes. I use my crockpot quite a bit. I do like to bake a lot and share with others. Thanksgiving is my day of cooking. I absolutely love this day. We all get together on this day to celebrate family togetherness and eat good food. I consider it a triumph when a certain dish or meal comes out perfect. Cornbread on fire one Thanksgiving;runny pecan pie one Christmas. I try to make lemonade out of any lemons that happen my way, but sometimes you just have to suck the lemons the way they are!
