Chicken in Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2009
Sooo delish and Sooo Easy! Made the sauce as listed, except added a splash of Sherry and 3 splashes of Soy. Put chix breasts in baking pan, sprinkled with onion salt, lemon pepper and Bacon salt. Wrapped each piece with bacon. Poured sauce over. Then added some very thinly shaved slices of fresh Parmesan cheese over each chicken piece. To finalize it, very lightly dusted some Paprika over the top (to give it color). Baked at 350 deg. F. for 45 min. Moist! Sauce was fabulous over rice! Hubby and sons lapped it up. Next time I will double the sauce. It was so easy and quick, thanks!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
I love this recipe and actually posted a very similar one on this site. What I do is make the recipe as listed, but I take 1/4 of the water and mix 1/2 pckg. of dry brown gravy mix in with that to a paste, and add with the rest of the water. I also add 1 tsp. of Worcestire sauce, 1/2 cup red wine, and a squirt of Ketchup, along with the Mushroom soup and onion soup mix. If it needs thickening, you can add a small amount of dehydrated "Potato buds". Wonderful meal over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes. and Yes-- if there are any leftovers, they make great sandwiches the next day.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
Not quite "unbelievable", but pretty darn good! My family was very happy with this chicken-- it is a keeper! Very moist and flavorful. We did add a few shakes of red pepper flakes, plus a "spritz" of soy sauce and 1/8 tsp. dried Oregano to the marinade. Very good, thanks for giving us the recipe!

Baked Pesto Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2009
I wanted to love this recipe... sounded so easy and wonderful. The chicken did turn out very moist, but just too bland for my family. I even marinated it for 2 hours in some pesto, plus a little garlic and basil. Sliced leftovers did make a nice sandwich the next day.

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2007
My whole family LOVED this sauce! Gobbled it all up.. next time I will DOUBLE the recipe for sure. I cooked the chicken on my indoor grill pan, turned out moist and juicy, with this delicious sauce! Into the sauce I added some soy sauce and a couple shakes of Chipotle Tabasco sauce in as well, it was super. Thanks for a great recipe.

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
So easy, and turned out so moist! Next time I will marinate it longer (I only did for 15 min.), but I liked the "light" flavor that complemented, rather than dominated, the wonderful salmon taste. Good recipe, thanks!

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Really good for a quick, easy as pie weeknight dinner, and the family really liked it! I thought it was a tad bit bland, but still really good, moist chicken and so easy to please the family!

Chicken Gruyere with Sauteed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2005
This was a great, fast, easy dinner! I used half Gruyere and half grated Parmesan. I also added about 1 tsp. of fresh lemon juice and a small clove minced garlic. It was wonderful served with buttered vermicelli noodles and steamed green beans. A quick recipe I WILL make again-- my hubby loved it.

Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2005
Like another reviewer said, this pie did not hurt my teeth! Mine did NOT turn out gritty in the least as others said. I added 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, and a few Whole Pecans which I placed on the top to make it look pretty. Easy and wonderful! My pecan pie of choice from now on! The whole family loved it, disappeared quickly.

Pesto Cheesy Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
This was great! My teen son asked for 2nds & 3rds, then scraped the pan clean. I used Asiago cheese and after rolling up, dipped each piece in Creamy Italian dressing, then Italian bread crumbs. Next time I will make MORE! It is easy and really delish!
