Tested this recipe out recently and took some to work for a tasting. Everyone loved them, really enjoyed the cinnamon cream cheese frosting. I will definitely make these again.

I tried this recipe and was very pleased with the results. I read the reviews and followed some of the suggestions and added some of my own, like using chicken broth, diced & stewed tomatoes, using a small jar of southwestern style salsa, chopped fresh jalapeno pepper, drained corn, and cinnamon. One downfall of my own doing was using dried kidney beans instead of canned which needed to be soaked overnight and added to the total cooking time. However, I will make this a regular menu item in my home.
