Sugar Coated Pecans

Excellent. I made these and at the last minute, used them as a topping for endive leaves with veggie cream cheese. I put one on top of the cream cheese and it became a beautiful appetizer. BUT they are fabulous on their own. Thanks for the recipe

Clam Sauce with Linguine

My husband really liked this dish. I cut it in half for the two of us, but then used an extra can of clams without juice, as suggested by another reviewer. I added the parmesan to the sauce, which rendered it a bit salty. When I'm feeling fancy, I plan to use fresh clams - but this is a great mid-week dinner. Thanks!

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

This was a hit with the kids, but my husband and I thought it was just ok. I expected more based on the rave reviews. I like the concept and might layer cookies with a higher quality vanilla ice cream. Thanks for the recipe, it was nice to try it. I will make it again for a young audience.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This chicken was excellent. I don't usually like white meat from a whole chicken or turkey, but of course tasted it to see how it turned out. It was incredibly moist and flavorful. I cooked the chickens (2 - 4 1/2 to 5 pounders) for 4 hours and then checked them. The meat thermometer read 160, so I turned the oven off while I prepared my side dishes. The timing was perfect - they didn't need to cook any longer at all. Thanks for the great recipe!

Roasted Red Pepper-Cheese Spread

Very good. People I served it to told me it tasted just like Pimiento Cheese (which I've never had), so I think this recipe accomplishes its goal.

Easy Polenta with Tomato Sauce

I had no idea polenta was so easy to make. I'll never buy the prepared polenta again. This was very creamy. I used skim milk and low sodium broth, because that's all I had and it was delicious. I used my own sauce on top.

Sloppy Joes

This recipe was just ok. If it had been called "Barbecue Sloppy Joes" it would have been different. The barbecue taste was just too strong for my liking. I did take the advice of other reviewers and scaled back on the onion. Without brown sugar in the house, I used vidalia onions for the sweetness, which worked well. My husband wasn't impressed at all - and he loves barbecue - but he was really looking forward to old fashioned sloppy joes.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

I followed the recommendation to spread bread crumbs on top (I used Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs), sprayed it with two sprays of Pam Olive Oil and baked it until golden brown. It gave it the crunch that you get when you eat a real Jalapeno Popper. Everyone raved about it.

Savory Rosemary Bread Pudding

I loved this dish. My husband wasn't quite as crazy about it, but I suspect it was because I used it as a side dish and it seemed out of context with the pairing. I would definitely make it again - it would be great for a brunch. The flavors were great.

Ginger and Rosemary Pork Marinade

I used this recipe as someone suggested to marinate pork prior to making the stuffed pork tenderloin. I marinated it overnight. The flavor of lime was a bit too strong for my liking, but since the pork was stuffed, it evened out the strong taste. Next time, I might just marinate it for a couple of hours.

The Best Frikin' Party Dip Ever!

This was easy and quite tasty. I didn't drain the can of tomatoes, so it was a little bit runny. Next time, I would drain the tomatoes. It might be good with velveeta, too, instead of the cream cheese. Thanks for the recipe - it had great flavor

Ground Turkey Casserole

I found this to be bland and a bit too creamy. It was, however, easy to make. I froze the dish in individual corning ware containers and was able to pull one out at a time for a last minute dinner. If you freeze it, I recommend baking it rather than microwaving it.

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

This recipe was very good. I generally like to cook everything ahead of time, but having all of the ingredients measured by the stovetop made this a cinch even with company! I added some kosher salt and extra pesto for greater flavor.
