Super peppery. I don't remember the tri-tip I've had in Santa Maria being overwhelmed by the pepper. I'll try again halving it next time.

Terrific frosting! Made to recipe, except using butter flavor shortening. Turned out perfectly! It set up wonderfully (not hard, not squishy but just right)& tasted just like at the bakery. This does make a very large batch though - I generously frosted 4 dz cookies & still had 1/2 a batch left.

Super recipe! So easy to make with a traditonal sugar cookie flavor. Made exactly to recipe, baked 9 minutes, let completely cool & they were perfect - firm bottom, slightly chewy center. Only problem we have is deciding which batch is better - the one I frosted or the one I rolled in colored sprinkles.
