I love this recipe, like others I add carrots and minced garlic to the onion and celery and saute in olive oil instead of butter. My husband thinks its great. First time I made it I added cayenne pepper and loved it but it was a bit to spicy for everyone else. Now I just add the pepper to my bowl and we are all happy. Also I leave out the peas, just cause I don't like them

Made these for my husband. I don't like peanut butter, but his comment was they were more than acceptable. Very high praise from him. Easy recipe will make it again. Used buttermilk instead of regular, don't know if it affected the taste, but it was what I had on hand
