Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang)

I used to get a wonderful "spicy chicken" dish at a Korean restaurant in Lansing, MI. I moved, and I really missed that dish. This recipe is IT. SO GOOD. Next time I'll make in the crock pot and debone the chicken an hour or two before eating. PERFECT

Tortilla Chicken Vegetable Soup

I followed this recipe pretty closely, but I did use a leftover chicken that I had roasted the day before and I used 2 cans of Rotel tomatoes for an extra kick. I did every thing else the same and it was WONDERFUL. This will go in to my favorites folder.

Split Pea Soup with Rosemary

LOVED this soup. I used already cooked bacon, dried rosemary (1/4 tsp) and omitted the leek. I dumped everything in the crock pot for about 6 hours - 5 on low and the last on high. And it's excellent. So great because I never have a ham bone but I always have bacon on hand.

Quick Chicken Parmesan

This is a nice and quick version of chicken parmesan that doesn't include the breading. I marinated the breasts in Italian dressing for a little more flavor, and I used shredded mozarella because that's what I had. This is a good recipe for a quick and easy dinner.

Hummus IV

I like this better than most commercially prepared hummus. I LOVE garlic and this has quite a zip with that much in it. Really good.

Kansas City Steak Soup

Excellent recipe. I didn't add the tomatoes and cooked it in the crock pot, adding the butter and flour near the end. Oh I also added some cooked potatoes.

Apple Crisp IV

I followed the other reviewers' advice and cut the flour in half. I also cut the recipe in half and baked it in an 8x8 dish. Other than those changes, I followed the recipe. It's extremely yummy.

Easy Italian Sausage Lasagna

This isn't a bad recipe - I just think maybe it would work better in a smaller pan, since you do run out of sauce before the top layer. However, it's still a good way to make a quick and easy lasagna.

Light and Fluffy Spinach Quiche

Really good! I mixed all the ingredients together instead of layering them. I also used 1 cup reduced fat cheddar and 1/3 cup feta cheese, just because I had it and wanted to use it up. I'll definitely make this again.

Cream of Pumpkin Soup

I have to agree with the poster who said this wasn't much on it's own, but is a good base recipe. I also added brown sugar, nutmeg and cayenne pepper. I liked it a lot but my husband thought it was just so-so.
