New mom to a beautiful baby girl. Even in the days after she was just born, I HAD to cook. Nothing relaxes me more than chopping vegetables. Brainless but, you have to concentrate! Baking, baking, baking...BUT, I do everything and LOVE it all! Holidays - hands down. Big turkey dinners are nothing but BLISS for me (and, I have now converted my husband!) Definitely my wedding cake. I had to make every layer twice (the first recipe fell for some reason) but, the end result was incredibly beautiful! Next to that, getting my hubbie into the kitchen - with confidence! He is now almost as experimental as I am (although he doesn't bake...) I rarely cook dinner with a recipe so every once in awhile there is a "non-keeper". Probably the single worst were the brussel sprouts at Thanksgiving 2005 - undercooked, tasteless...they were thrown! (Good thing I had 5+ other vegetables to choose from)
