Golden Sweet Cornbread
This is the only cornbread my family will allow me to make. I have searched high and low for the perfect cornbread recipe for us and this is it!

Noreen's Mom's Simple Summer Squash Bake
I used zucchini and yellow squash; they don't require seeding. This was only OK. Kinda bland. I added some "Pasta Sprinkle" seasoning (oregano, parsley, etc.) to boost it up some but it needs something more. I think it can be worked into something better--maybe some buttered breadcrumbs on top.

Creamy Banana Bread
It was tasty enough but not phenomenal. And it hardly rose at all. I followed the directions (having never made it before, I didn't want to improvise until I knew how the recipe turned out). If I make it again, I'd stir in the cinnamon-nuts-brown sugar mixture rather than layer it.
