I used the simple white cake recipe then I subtracted 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. then I used 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of hazelnut syrup to add some nutty flavor to the cake.To finish the cup cakes, I iced them with simple chocolate icing and this is how they came out.
