Best Chicken Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2006
This was soo quick and easy! I was very generous with the sour cream and the chicken breasts came out so delicious! ---crispy on the outside and juicy/tender on the inside. Will definitely make it again. Perfect for people who are cramped for time!

Great. Just like Red Lobsters'! Chewy and cheesy. I used the Easy Biscuit mix recipe on this site instead of Bisquick.

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2006
This soup is definitely a keeper. A very hearty/healthy soup for a cold day. I omitted the green beans (eww..) and replaced them with potatoes. Will make again, easy and delicious!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
By far, one of my favorite recipes on this site. Ripe bananas work best, but if you don't have any, try this: Stick them in the fridge until they brown, then nuke them in the microwave so they're soft and easy to mash (so you don't end up with chunks). I also vary it a little by adding cinnamon and sometimes walnuts.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
These were great and relatively easy to make! Ended up with about 20 instead of 36. I actually made my thumbprint with a small plastic ball after I realized my thumbs were too tiny to make a nice thumbprint. Definitely a keeper!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
So easy and quick to make! This fudge was pretty good (not awesome...) and it disappeared soon after it cooled, however, it seemed to taste just as if I were eating the baking chocolate chips. I reversed the amount of semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips because the first time I made it, it was way to sweet. Definitely continue to make this until I find a better recipe. Works great as a gift!***Update: Try the Old-fashioned Chocolate Fudge on this site, a little extra work, but worth it!***

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2005
Tastes great and super easy! Definitely something you want to try if you don't like gingerbread cookies with too much spice in it. I tweaked it a little by adding ground cloves and a little more ginger. I would suggest doubling the recipe b/c it doesn't make that many.

Alfredo Blue

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2002
I usually don't like blue cheese, but this was really delicious! EVERYONE loved it! Although it has a really rich and strong flavor, so I'm not sure it would work as a main dish, maybe with chicken. Doesn't reheat well.
