About this Cook
I have two 6'4" teenage boys and they are ALWAYS hungry. They love their Mom's home cooking...so I try to find new recipes to change things up. Plus, I adore eating and trying new things. That's why I love All Recipes!
My favorite things to cook
General Tso's Chicken!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year for the holidays we grill our turkey. It's been a tradition ever since my husband and I got married almost 25 years ago. I don't even know if I could bake a turkey in the oven! I've NEVER tried it!
My cooking triumphs
Making good gravy!
My cooking tragedies
Boiling the eggs dry one day...yuck...smells like burnt fingernails and the smell takes a LONG time to leave the house!

Crunchy Romaine Toss
Oh geeze, how could anyone not love anything with fried ramen noodles? This was fantastic, along with the dressing...I found it refreshing that it wasn't cabbage...that I love, don't get me wrong, but I love romaine too, and it was great! Thanks for sharing. By the way, it's versatile as well...! Yea! Oh, one more thing, I changed the recipe by adding sesame oil, which I adore. In addition to the regular oil...it added depth, which I felt it needed.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls
Well, these are pretty fantastic. I used my kitchen aid bread dough hook, worked perfectly. I even put another 1/4 cup butter in the dough, but it still tasted great! Glazed em with orange glaze. My 16 year old ate three and thought I was a god. Only was to talk him into getting started on his homework early today! Thanks for sharing!

Best Ziti Ever
Yum!!!!!!!! I fed numerous neighbor kids...the family, and a couple of other neighbors that stopped by for a glass of wine...wow. I did add a whole chopped onion, some mushrooms, and some garlic (about 3 cloves)...this IS the recipe...I used cottage cheese instead of ricotta and will do so next time too! I'm making that when the in-laws come next week...thanks SO much!!!!!
