Egg in a Hole
MEMORIES Sweet Memories! I'm almost 64 years old and you brought me back to my childhood. If I remember correctly I took the recipe from a Kids Betty Crocker Cook Bood, infact I still have it somewhere. I'll see if I can find it and post it. How I made it was I'd butter one slice of the WONDER Bread, flip it butter the other side, cut out the middle. Then put the frame in the fry pan, add the egg and fry until the underside of the bread was golden. Oh yes I did fry the hole. When the second underside browned out out of the pan it came. Then the fun would start. I'd break the creamy yolk and dig in. Ya' know I think I know what I'll for my B'day breakfast 1/25. Think I'll make a more mature version and use a whole grain bread.

Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup
What an absolutly WONDERFUL soup. I made some minor alterations, but the soup would be perfect as is. We like our food with lots of flavor so I added additional ginger (jared paste-very handy),paprika and chili powder. I blended with an imersion blender half way to puree. I didn't have yoghart so I used about 1/2 a cup of fat free half and half. To top it off I chopped some cilantro (always a delight). Hubby and I really, really enjoyed it and it will definatly make it again, probably when we entertain. Thanks Zhidaoma....you tickled our taste buds. We highly reccomend giving it a try.
