Excellent and very easy to make! My Arabic fiance raved about it and said it tasted very authentic.

What a great soup! I used portabella mushrooms for flavor and red potatoes with their skins on. I omitted the flour... it was delicious with a broth-base. I also just used a splash of half and half which saves on calories/fat. It is a keeper for sure.

My boyfriend RAVED about this dish! I'm a vegetarian, so I was a bit nervous making something I couldn't sample, but he loved it. I followed the advice of others and doubled the marinade, added ginger and took it out early to put under the broiler for a bit. He liked it so much he wants me to make it for his family.
