About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook gourmet looking food that's easy to prepare. My family enjoys fresh pastas from our pasta maker attachment to the kitchen aid mixer. I love experimenting to fresh vegetables and meats and fish. Currently, my favorite dish is spinach pesto stuffed chicken breasts.
My cooking tragedies
One Easter dinner, I prepared several dishes from allrecipes.com. Each one was sweet - sweet potato praline, sweet glaze for the ham, etc. I forgot to balance the flavors by having something salty and savory, too. Dinners was like a big fluff of cotton candy. Yuck!

Cranberry, Apple, and Fresh Ginger Chutney
Wow, make this at least the day before. You will never go back to that canned stuff!

Coconut-Curry Lentil Stew Served over Quinoa
I'm a vegetarian and I liked it, by my omnivorous family asked me to NEVER make it again. They ate the quinoa to be polite.

Hummus III
I don't think this takes the whole 10 minutes. Simple and delicious recipe! I added more garlic because I love it!
