About this Cook
We've lived on Guam for over 11 years and can't think of a better place on earth.
My favorite things to cook
Fried rice, Chamorro (Guam-style) BBQ, desserts
My cooking triumphs
2nd place in the first annual Guam Spam Cookoff
My cooking tragedies
Once, when we were broke, I baked a pan of frozen lasagna. When it came out of the oven, I dropped it on the floor. As luck would have it, it landed up side down! UGH

Mashed Potato Cakes
Simple and easy to do. As others said, it is very simple tasting...good for the picky eaters in your life. I turned them over about 1/2 way through and put butter on top when I served them. I will make this again. Next time I'll add bacon and a little shredded cheese.

Egg Salad Sandwiches
WOW! Great recipe. Sometimes we add Dijon mustard and that gives it yet a different flavor.

Deviled Eggs I
This is a good basic recipe. I like a little more flavor.
