I am a mom to two very sweet little boys. They are my official taste testers! I have been in the kitchen my whole life, it is my favorite place to be. My mom is German and has passed on many wonderful recipes and traditions to me that I am passing on to my kids. Anything I have a recipe to! Christmas baking. I am carrying on a tradition started by my mom and her mom. The main focus is the gingerbread house and sugar cookies. No matter how old a child is they help decorating. It requires patience and gives wonderful bonding time as a reward. For me, cooking seems to come easy. Once I learned how to make cheesecake and schnitzel (what a combo!) my life was set. Gravy, I am afraid to make it too thick, so it usually ends up too thin!
