These cookies were good. I had puffy cookies until they left the oven, then they flattened out. The flavor was good when using butter Crisco, but it may have been a little too much butter flavor. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla as some had suggested. I did not get enough cinnamon flavor, so I will add some to the dough next time. One thing I noticed, when baking the first batch of cookies, I used two small trays. The bottoms got done a little too much. When I did the last batch, I used one large tray and they came out perfect at 8 minutes.

I have made this roast three times now, using different cuts, it has come out delicious every time!

This was fabulous! I made it during the week, it was relatively fast and easy. My husband loved it!
