Cheeseburger Soup I

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2012
I doubled the meat , veggies, & seasonings but only used 4 cups of broth and left the roux, cheese and sour cream as is. Instead of soup it was like a stew and everyone in the family enjoyed it. I served it with biscuits and a salad. Thanks for the recipe!

Holiday Cranberry Chutney

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
I was serving a ham slice and wanted to make it special. I use 1/2 water and 1/2 orange juice as suggested on this website and reduced the sugar to 1 cup. After cooking, I cooled slightly and served warm spooned over the ham slice. This was served with mashed sweet potatoes and broccoli.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
I followed others suggestions and mixed 1/4 cup each of Gray Poupon mustard and honey and melted buttler. I dipped the chicken in the mix and rolled in bread crumbs before baking. Then I made another batch of sauce on the stove and dribbled it across thee chicken and rice just before serving. Everyone loved it!

Cranberry Nut Muffins

Didn't have cardamon so used 1/2 nutmeg and 1/2 cinnamon for both the muffins and the butter. This tasted great and the butter was perfect compliment.

Overnight Berry Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
Great coffee cake - added two cups of frozen blueberries and raspberries. Shifted my flour as it was lumpy and only sat about 15 minutes before baking - will try it again overnight to see if there is a difference.

Meat Loaf Dinner

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
This was very good and easy. I added some diced red pepper and mushrooms in addition to the onion as well as some shredded italain cheese mix. Forgot to cover for the first hour but it wasn't dry at all. Super easy clean-up and enough for lunches the next day.

Cheesy Tuna Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
This recipe is a good way to use up lasagna noodles - I added peas and cooked in a 9 x 13 pan and was generous with the cottage cheese and mozzarella. I put it under the broiler after baking 30 minutes to brown and crisp the top. It made enough for two nights dinner with a salad for a family of four.
