I am a newlywed and have a lot of years of cooking ahead of me! I love to try new things and have my husband rate them! I love desserts! There are so many! Thanksgiving is real big with our family. Every year it gets even bigger with the family expanding. We generally have at least 40 people. Talk about a lot of food! I have made many birthday cakes for various family members. Lately I have even sold a few, including a wedding cake! On one crazy Christmas I didn't know my oven wasn't working correctly. I had my first turkey in the oven for 6 hours before I realized the oven just wasn't hot enough!
