Good recipe. I used half the sugar and it was certainly sweet enough. Will save this recipe and make again.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
The husband is licking his fingers right now after eating three pieces of this warm bread. I used hand mixer for butter and sugar, about 1 1/4 c. banana (mashed with a fork) and used A&E plain classic Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Don't hesitate...make this bread. Your house smells heavenly while it's cooking. I'm making it again tomorrow.

Growing fresh basil and needed to use it and boy was this the ticket. Really really great recipe. Husband and teenage son - as did I - loved it. Thanks for the recipe.

White Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
Wow - makes incredible cookies that stay formed and have some lift. I doubled the recipe, added an additional egg and one small box instant vanilla pudding. Used what I had in the cupboard as far as chocolate - semi-sweet chunk, milk chocolate and white chocolate. Really sweet but really good. Had to cook for 16 minutes and they ended up the crisp, chewy cookies that I love. This is my new go-to recipe.

Overnight Coffee Cake

Great texture great consistency - great recipe. The only thing I would do differently is alot less nutmeg. The one teaspoon of nutmeg is way, way overpowering. 1/2 teaspoon would be just about right.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

I'd give this more than 5 stars if I could. I usually halve breakfast casseroles but didn't today and went ahead and made a 9x13. The five of us tore through the whole thing. It was crazy good. I used Butterball turkey breakfast sausage instead of bacon. This is my new holiday casserole.

New England Blueberry Coffee Cake

I'd give this recipe more than 5 stars if I could. Made it for a co-worker's birthday this morning. The batter is really thick and the topping is almost glue like but man-o-man the end result is fantastic. Another co-worker told me 'he was in heaven' and yet another told me it was 'unbelievable'. I did cook it an additional 5 minutes and it was perfection. Give it a try - you won't regret it.

Baby Back Ribs

Made 20 lbs. for 12 teenage boys on Superbowl game day. Used the rub (suggested by Cathy M. on 07/05/2007) instead of the sauce, marinated overnight, then slathered in sauce and cooked for 3 hours at 300, let sit for one hour and then grilled for 5 minutes each side. You know it's a good recipe if 12 teenage boys can't get enough of them. Thanks for the recipe!

Fun recipe and very good tasting. I had picked up a mini bundt pan at a garage sale a couple of years ago and had never used it. The mini bundts turned out great. Everyone enjoyed Christmas morning.

Beer Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
I made this for my teenage son's birthday dinner as he had requested steak. After dinner, I asked him how many stars he would give this recipe and he stated 5. When I asked him what comments I should say about it, he said "juicy and it had so much flavor, you don't even need steak sauce." A huge winner tonight immensely enjoyed by everyone.

Quick Quiche

A+++ recipe. I made three for Mother's Day. I cut up thick sliced turkey breast and used a different cheese in each one - Swiss, Monterey Jack and Cheddar. They were all really good but the Monterey Jack was a stand out. Like one other reviewer said, you really don't miss or even notice there's no crust. This is going on the meal rotation.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Made for Sunday dinner and received great reviews by family. As suggested by others, I only used 1 c. ketchup and our favorite bbq sauce (KC Masterpiece of course!). My 15 year son, who is a connoisseur of ribs, thought they were incredible. Thanks for the great recipe.
