New England Blueberry Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
I'd give this recipe more than 5 stars if I could. Made it for a co-worker's birthday this morning. The batter is really thick and the topping is almost glue like but man-o-man the end result is fantastic. Another co-worker told me 'he was in heaven' and yet another told me it was 'unbelievable'. I did cook it an additional 5 minutes and it was perfection. Give it a try - you won't regret it.

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
Made 20 lbs. for 12 teenage boys on Superbowl game day. Used the rub (suggested by Cathy M. on 07/05/2007) instead of the sauce, marinated overnight, then slathered in sauce and cooked for 3 hours at 300, let sit for one hour and then grilled for 5 minutes each side. You know it's a good recipe if 12 teenage boys can't get enough of them. Thanks for the recipe!

Fun recipe and very good tasting. I had picked up a mini bundt pan at a garage sale a couple of years ago and had never used it. The mini bundts turned out great. Everyone enjoyed Christmas morning.

Beer Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2006
I made this for my teenage son's birthday dinner as he had requested steak. After dinner, I asked him how many stars he would give this recipe and he stated 5. When I asked him what comments I should say about it, he said "juicy and it had so much flavor, you don't even need steak sauce." A huge winner tonight immensely enjoyed by everyone.

Quick Quiche

A+++ recipe. I made three for Mother's Day. I cut up thick sliced turkey breast and used a different cheese in each one - Swiss, Monterey Jack and Cheddar. They were all really good but the Monterey Jack was a stand out. Like one other reviewer said, you really don't miss or even notice there's no crust. This is going on the meal rotation.

A+++ recipe. This one is going on the meal rotation. Husband said it's good enough to serve to company. As read in other reviews, I wrapped in foil and cooked in crock pot on low for 8 hours.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Made for Sunday dinner and received great reviews by family. As suggested by others, I only used 1 c. ketchup and our favorite bbq sauce (KC Masterpiece of course!). My 15 year son, who is a connoisseur of ribs, thought they were incredible. Thanks for the great recipe.

After watching the Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi "No soup for you!", I wanted to make Mulligatawny having never tasted it. Wow, my whole family loved it. It is definitely a change from the ordinary and will make it over and over again. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

This is a really really really sweet pie. The whipped cream actually is needed to offset the sweetness of the pie. Good but probably won't make again.

Excellent recipe which was enjoyed by all Christmas Eve. I ate the little bit of leftover on Christmas morning and I think I liked it even better as a coffee cake. I did have to cook it an extra 8 minutes so be sure to test for doneness. Thanks for the great recipe!

Baked Omelet

A+++ recipe. In fact, I'd say this is one of the best recipes I've gotten from this website. Instead of ham, I used thick sliced turkey. I also used sharp cheddar which gave it great flavor. Be sure to add the minced onion as it did give it that extra flavor (I halved the amount of minced onion but still gave it that zip). Thank you for making Christmas morning breakfast special for our family!

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2005
This is a really really good recipe. My teenage daughter passed on going out with friends because of the smell coming from the slow cooker - she didn't want to miss out on the dinner it smelled so good! I used sharp cheese - doubled it and the ham. A bit on the salty side but all-in-all a very good recipe. Will make again.

This recipe is just like the Cooking Light recipe. It is fantastic. Be sure to brown the butter though - it gives it a nutty flavor. Who ever would have thought to bake asparagus? You'll never boil it again after eating it this way!
