These were delicious! My husband raved...and he usually thinks that cooking pork chops in anything but cream of mushroom soup is too complicated. I used a combination of whole-grain Dijon & a sweet/spicy garlic mustard to make them, and it was well-received by my dinner guests for sure. My husband and I were fighting over the leftovers for lunch the next day!

I made this without the celery because I didn't have any on hand...and I didn't miss it! This is the best chicken salad I have ever had. I also took the advice of the first reviewer and just marinaded some chicken breasts in liquid smoke, olive oil, a bit of mesquite seasoning and a little bit of water. Toasted the almonds because I like the flavor better that way, eyeballed the basil and the mayo. I hope that I have enough for lunches for the rest of the week. YUM. Thanks, Kristine!

WOW. This was a hit! My husband and I were fighting over the leftovers! Since I love corn, I added two cans (one cup?! Come on!), seasoned my chicken with some garlic mesquite seasoning, topped it off with some sharp Cheddar I found in the fridge (for the first time in heaven knows how long, we were out of Mexican cheese) and then just waited. My husband was wary about cream of chicken soup with salsa, but after his first bite, the wariness was replaced with "Wow, hon, this is amazing" followed by a "This tastes like more." And when it tastes like "more" in our house, it's a hit!

Yep, the homemade mayonnaise makes this. It took forever to make, but it came out delicious...however, DO NOT use just extra-virgin olive oil! I started out using extra-virgin because it was all I could find, and tasted it and it was WAY too strong. I ended up making up the difference with some canola oil I found, and that helped a lot. Also used some Danish blue cheese (my favorite!) and toasted the pecans before adding them. Forgot to buy grapes at the store, so I had to go without...maybe next time! My husband and I both tried a little bit with some crackers and it's delicious - looking forward to having it for lunch tomorrow at work on honey-oat bread. Yummy!

Great! Added a LOT more orange and just enough cayenne to taste. Gave them out to my supervisors at work as belated Christmas/New Years gifts and they were received very well...thanks for a great recipe! Will be making them again.

This was great - I made it for Father's Day dinner with homemade mashed potatoes, salad and Hawaiian sweet bread. My father-in-law said it was "sure good", and from him that's the best comment to get! Thanks for a great recipe.

This is hands-down the best salad that I have ever had. My fiance was wary of a warm spinach salad, but after we sat down and started eating, he changed his tune VERY fast. I did not have any shallots or fresh garlic (someone keeps throwing my garlic out! The horror!) but used a fourth of a medium-sized onion and it was great. The best part of it is that there aren't really any flavors that dominate...it's crunchy from the almonds, a little salty from the bacon, a touch sweet from the cheese and the honey. Loved it! I Added a red bell pepper, since I had one in the fridge that I needed to use before it turned. Didn't add the okra (didn't have any, and we don't really like it anyhow), a can of petite diced tomatoes (made for a great sauce) and used Johnsonville sweet Italian sausage links since it was what I had on hand. This was delicious, quick and easy, and will certainly be on our regular rotation. :)

I can't say enough about this great recipe...it was delicious! I did triple the sauce and marinaded the chicken in it for a few hours, which gave it a nice, full flavor with the wonderful tang of vinegar and lime. Served this on multigrain tortillas with the usual taco fixings and Pace tequila-lime salsa. Delicious! I will certainly be making this again, thank you for sharing this great recipe. :)

Very, very good! I used pre-cooked chicken strips (Oscar Meyer) because I didn't have fresh chicken on hand, and added the lemon juice and zest to the chicken anyway. My fiance said it was the best chicken salad that he ever had! We'll be buying more chicken and plan on making more for lunches next week. Thanks for a great recipe!

This is good...but I think the next time I make it, I'll use boneless pork chops. The rice was delicious and had a great flavor - I would never have thought of orange juice and chicken stock for cooking liquid, but it was just right. We had this for dinner with broccoli, French bread and a spinach salad - delicious and filling, and most importantly, very very good. Will make again.

Love this stuff! It is so good and so easy. We like to cut our chicken into chunks and serve it with the broccoli-cheese over the mashed potatoes like gravy. Leftovers are also good with brown rice if you run out potatoes. This has quickly become one of my favorite meals and undoubtedly will be on the rotation for a long, long time to come.

OK, I loved this salad. Absolutely, positively loved it...it was really that good! I followed the advice of another reviewer and let the dressing sit in the fridge for half an hour for the flavors to mingle, put ONE seasoning packet in the dressing instead of two (which remedied the "dressing was too salty" complaint I saw from a lot of other reviewers.) My noodles fell apart when I cooked them, so I broke them up with a fork when adding them to the salad. Instead of red pepper, I used an orange pepper, cut into bite-size cubes, since that was what I had on hand. I think I might have a new favorite salad. Thanks so much for submitting this recipe...we love it!

Oh boy, this is GOOD. We were out of gallon-size Ziploc bags, so I just poured the marinade into a dish and put the steak in on top of it, and flipped it every few hours (it had been marinading since early yesterday afternoon.) It turned out delicious. The four of us feasted on it tonight - thanks for a great, quick, easy and absolutely amazing recipe that will go in my regular rotation for sure!
