Much to my surprise, squash doesn't exist in this area of France so I had to substitute the squash with something like a pumpkin that tastes like chestnuts?? However it turned out great and everyone loved it but I'm sure that it tastes even better with real squash - going home to Canada for Christmas and will try again..

Had an early Christmas dinner and for the first time decided to try something new. The turkey was fantastic, moist tender and not to mention absolutely delicious. I live in France where turkeys are not often served and have a reputation of being dry-- my guests loved it and no longer have that impression.
