Good recipe that will become a lenten favorite in our house. (I used a combination of shrimp, tilapia, and little neck clams in place of the sole and lobster because they were freshest at my fish market, otherwise followed exactly.) It's nice served over a big scoop of homemade polenta.

Henry and Maudie's Oatmeal Cookies

A very good healthful treat! Like another reviewer I omitted the butter entirely and used olive oil instead (needed to up the flour by 1/4 cup probably because of the substitution). Also chopped up a Hershey's Special Dark chocolate bar (5oz) and added at the end.

Pumpkin Bread VI

Really good - I'd give it 4 and a half stars if I could! Love that it uses whole wheat flour. The only change I made was to add more spices... 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp cloves and ginger. Like another reviewer, this will be my official pumpkin bread recipe from now on! Thanks!

Sweet Potato Gnocchi

These were delicious. I have been making traditional potato gnocchi for years (from an old family recipe) and decided to try sweet potato - WOW! I topped them with a little bit of butter infused with fresh sage. Can't wait to make them again. Thanks!
