Angel Biscuits II

excellent biscuit recipe!! I love that they are not a dry biscuit. They do not rise a whole lot, but they are still great tasting.Using a rapid rise yeast, rather than regular yeast, gives them a little extra lift. I also took the advice of another reviewer and did 1/2 shortening, 1/2 margerine (or butter)...for taste purposes.

Black and White Pinwheels

Decent recipe of an old time favorite. I like the melted choc. chips for the rich chocolate flavor. Dough was not too difficult to work with when chilled enough. For the 1/2 cup butter I did...1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup shortening for a softer cookie. Good recipe!

Cinnamon Rolls III

WOW! What a great recipe! The rolls yielded 20 for me. I was suprised at how moist they remained. I was out out nuts so I used minced apple instead. Very Yummy! Will definitely make again (and again....).

Peaches 'N Cream Pie

Wow! What a great simple recipe! I needed to find a quick dessert to serve to my Bible study. This recipe was faster than cookies and tasted great! It disappeared quickly and the recipe was highly requested. Thanks Annette! I wonder if other fruit can be substitued when I don't have peaches?...hmm, time to experiment...

Peanut Butter Cups

I have been making these for a long time. People are always impressed. However, I too use the milk chocolate chips. I also add 2-3Tbs. of confection sugar to the peanut butter. It makes the PB filling taste more like the store version and less like a clump of peanut butter.

Mexican Lasagna II

Good base recipe. I decreased the beans to one can. I also added a 1/4 cup layer of sour cream and 1/2 cup layer of picante sauce in the middle. It quickly disappeared at a teacher luncheon. Many came back for seconds.

Chocolate Spoons

I made these for Christmas gifts a few days in advance. On Christmas Eve I noticed that they no longer were smooth, but rough and spotty looking. I made up a quick new batch with a tad of shortening and they still look beautiful.
