I made this after reading several reviews and decided to cut back on the sugar in both the fruit and in the batter as suggested. I also cut the water back to 1 cup. The only other thing I did was add the juice of half a lemon to the fruit to add a bit of tartness and to brighten it up. It turned out excellent and my husband and I ate more than we should have. Very nice recipe!

Bombay Chicken and Rice

I was very disappointed in this recipe. We found it very dry. I love curry so the next time I try it I will make more sauce and pour it over the chicken before baking.

Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms

We both loved this recipe. I used the suggestion of another reviewer and added some white wine at the end and reduced the sauce. Very yummy!

Creamy Lemon Chicken Soup

This was a very good soup, although I did make a fairly major change. I had some leeks that I wanted to use in soup and so substituted them for the onion in this recipe. I followed the rest of the recipe as is. Very nice flavor and texture. Will definitely try it again - and may even use regular onion if I don't have leeks on hand. But give it a try - just wash the leeks(very well) and chop (I had about four cups chopped - discarded the dark green part) and substituted for the one onion chopped.

Blueberry Coffee Cake I

This was very good - very yummy! I also liked the candy crunch of the topping - which ends up in the middle rather than the top. Will do this again.

Hearty Turkey Stew with Vegetables

This was pretty good. My leftover turkey was tough, but that was probably my fault. I think next time I might use fresh rather than left over. But the over all taste was yummy. Like someone else mentioned, I added oregano along with the marjoram and I liked that flavor. Definitely a recipe you can play around with.

Chicken, Sausage and Zucchini Pasta

This was very good. I did substitute diced ham for the chicken as I had that left over and didn't feel like defrosting a chicken breast. I also removed the sausage from the casing and crumbled rather than just slicing. I used fresh mushrooms and didn't have any zucchini so increased the peppers and mushrooms. The end result was yummy!

This was outstanding! I did however make a few changes. But not many. I omitted the Ghee - only because I am dieting and didn't want the extra fat content, and I omitted the cilantro as I don't like cilantro. These two changes still made this a great recipe -thanks Alia!

Kelli's Baked Halibut

This recipe was absolutely delicious. We live on Vancouver Island and in the heart of fresh halibut country, so I was able to get a fresh filet. I followed the recipe exactly and served it with a spicy peach salsa. Very good recipe and will definitely try it again.

Asian Salmon

We have salmon quite often as we live right on the ocean. This is the best marinade for salmon that we have ever tried. We've already passed the recipe around to friends and will try it again. Thanks Lyseey!

Mike's Homemade Pizza

This was a very good dough and sauce recipe. I substituted olive oil for the shortening and it worked very well. The sauce was very good and complemented the veggies (mushrooms, red and green peppers that I added. I will definitely do this again.
