About this Cook
I am a stay at home Mom of two children. A boy Zach 12 and a girl Julia 8. I have another child, Angi 23 who is on her own now and living in Nevada with my grandbaby, Mia. I have been married for 16 years to my husband, Scott.
My favorite things to cook
I really love to grill. I enjoy trying new recipes all the time. Mexican, Italian, American is really hard to pick an absolute favorite.
My cooking triumphs
I became responsible for both Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas for both me and my husbands familys (about 20 or more people). For many years I would take great pride in this and had many wonderful times. My husband, children and I moved to different state where we have no family and spent our first holidays with just us. I still cooked enough for a small army!
My cooking tragedies
I have many. This is one of them. The first time I made lasagne I invited my husbands mother and grandmother over for dinner. This is about 12 years ago. I guess I put a little to much cheese and it just was a melty unedible mess on our plates. Oh yeah, I burnt the garlic bread. I felt terriblely, but everyone was very nice and understanding.

Louisiana Shrimp Creole II
I made this for a Mardi Gras party and it went over very well. Easy to make and very good. I agree with other that 2T of corn starch was to much. I will make it with just 1 next time. Thanks!
