I am married to a Palestinian and have three children. I began serious cooking when I had my first child, 9 years ago. My husband and I are both cooks and entertain alot! My favorite thing to cook is a Middle Eastern Dish called Maklubeh which translated means "upsidedown". It is a rice and chicken dish that everyone loves. We cook alot for family but my favorite times are the holidays both Christian and Muslim. Everyone is welcome! I finally learned how to make a stuffed cabbage that my family loves!! One of the first times my husband and I entertained for his extended family I decided to make pumpkin pie. I was horrified when the plates started coming back with just one bite out of them. After tasting it, I realized I had not put any sugar in it! It was like eating squash!@!!
