About this Cook
I have been cooking since I was about 15 years old, and these days, with 4 children with gigantic appetites, cooking is a must!
My favorite things to cook
Oh, wow, there is no way I can narrow this down, as my tastes range from spicy and exotic to edgy, yet traditional. One thing is for certain, I am not a fan of bland, mild or boring! Tater Tot casserole is a no no in this house-- no thanks. We love the Baked Pork Chop recipe, Salsa Chicken, Garlic Chicken, It's Chili by George! recipe, and the list goes on and on!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Special eggs on the weekend-- very special, very nutritious, and incredibly awesome! My husband and I created this recipe years ago, and it is so good, we make it every weekend, and when we have company staying over night. We also make pancakes, waffles or french toast on Sunday mornings. :-)
My cooking triumphs
So many!
My cooking tragedies
So many! Trial and error!

Delicious Black Bean Burritos
This is a very dry recipe, but the taste is good. Next time I will try to add sour cream instead of cream cheese, and see if it comes out less dry. Enjoy the taste, easy to make, but not a fan of the dryness.

Kettle Corn
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! My 4 kids adore this Kettle Corn, and ask me to make it often. Very easy to make, and tastes divine. Recommend!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge
I make this every single Christmas! It is wonderful as is-- I change nothing. It is sweet, moist, delicious and a hit in my family! This also makes a great Teacher's Gift for Christmas. Wrap it beautifully in some cellophane, finish off with a bow and voila! instant gift. Recommend!
