My husband says it is strange but I feel really refreshed when I am cooking. I know many people run for drinking when they are stressed, but I tend to bake when I am stressed.

I do LOVE baking. As my husband is here with me only over weekends, I often bring cakes to the office or freeze.
My cooking tragedies
It is really sad to see a flat cake in the oven.....

Salsa Chicken
I was a bit skeptical as this recipe doesn't brown chicken. But it turned out simply delicious. I didn't modify anything. Thank you for this great recipe!

Japanese Chicken Wings
I still don't know why it's called"Japanese" but I simply love this recipe. It was a big hit for our holiday party. I reduced the sugar to be half but it's still too sweet for my taspte. I will cut the sugar to be 1/3 the next time.

Beef and Vegetable Stew
I love this recipe. It's very flavourful! Only one thing I added was a half cup of red wine. I'm sure I will make it many times during this winter!
