About this Cook
I Love to cook and try new recipes. I am always looking at cooking magazines and cookbooks and different recipes on sites. I just love it when I find a recipe that turns out scrumptious.
My favorite things to cook
I Love to cook just about anything. I am not much of a baker because we do not eat many sweets, but I will try new recipes from time to time. I have a bread machine so I make fresh breads in that to go with our meals. My bread machine is a west bend just for dinner so it makes small loaves. My favorite things to cook are those that you can take something like steak,Pork, chicken, roast, turkey, ground beef, shrimp, fish etc... and make it into a delicious meal. Not so much fish because my husband does not like it - But I can get him to eat Cod from time to time.
My favorite family cooking traditions
When we were young we would go to my Grandmother's house and it was always a treat because she would always make her spaghetti and meatballs (the absolute best in the world). This would take her all day to cook - she would get up way early in the morning and let it simmer all Day. The best I have ever ever had !!!!! She would also always have fresh homebaked cookies that were awesome !!!!
My cooking triumphs
Everytime I cook something that turns out Super Yummy !!!! - There have been so many delightful mouth-watering meals that I have made.
My cooking tragedies
Working with Phyllo Dough.

Breakfast Pies
What a great recipe - I was worried about the biscuits puffing up so I put them between wax paper and rolled with rolling pin to flatten. I let them rest and rolled them again. Placed in muffin tins and filled 3/4 full and baked. They were delish!!! Such a great idea - brought a couple to work and popped in the microwave. Thanks for sharing your recipe ;)

Mahogany Chicken Wings
I made this exactly as recipe calls for except I used 9 pounds of chicken wings - put it in a crock pot and let it cook. I brought it to a Christmas get together and everyone loved them -There were no leftovers to bring home.
