Slow Cooker Barbeque
Amazing!!! I used a 3 1/2 pound chuck roast, 2 cloves of garlic and 1 whole white onion instead of the garlic & onion powder and 1 bottle of K.C. Masterpiece Hot & Spicy BBQ sauce. I followed the advice of others by draining & shredding the meat after the initial 8 hours and using a second bottle of BBQ sauce for the last hour. It came out perfect! I served it on onion buns & got rave reviews! This was my very first crock-pot attempt, and I will definitely make this again - it was SO easy! I would recommend trimming the fat off of the roast before cooking - it was sort of a pain to remove after the sauce was cooked into everything. I also think I'll add some hot peppers in the future for a little more kick!!!

Chocolate Cheesecake
Although the cake did crack straight down the middle, it tasted great and was a big hit! Next time, I'll probably use the steam bath others have recommended for making cheesecakes, but otherwise a great recipe!

Home-Fried Potatoes
A great basic recipe & easy to follow! The home fries came out crispy and soft, although I used regular potatoes instead of red ones. Thanks!
